The author, Amy Martin, will share material from the book about how Denton County is home to three of the five largest (from 2600 to 3700 acres) nature parks and preserves in North Texas: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityofdenton.com\/222\/Clear-Creek\">Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center<\/a> (Denton), <a href=\"https:\/\/tpwd.texas.gov\/state-parks\/ray-roberts-lake\">Ray Roberts Lake State Park<\/a> (Pilot Point), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.llela.org\/\">Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area<\/a>. That\u2019s bragging rights!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.experiencesouthlaketexas.com\/428\/Bob-Jones-Nature-Center-and-Preserve\">Bob Jones Nature Center<\/a> (Southlake) sits amid 700 acres of Eastern Cross Timbers habitat held by US Army Corps of Engineers that has over 20 miles of natural trails. Lewisville Lake also has extensive natural trails on USACE land on its western flank.
