Immensely honored to share that Wild DFW: Explore the Amazing Nature Around Dallas-Fort Worth will be part of the grand opening of DFW\u2019s newest Barnes & Noble in Rockwall. I\u2019ll give a short talk, and then be on hand to sign copies and answer questions about North Texas nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joining me are some fabulous Rockwall folks to help you learn about nature in and around the city: Come mix and mingle with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<:> Mick Tune of the @Dallas Paleontological Society https:\/\/www.dallaspaleo.org\/ will bring some of the 145 to 66 million year old fossils he discovered at the Ladonia Fossil Park, an hour northeast of Rockwall.
<> Mary Carter and Susan Oursbourn, members of the @Rockwall Butterfly Brigade https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/RockwallButterflyBrigade\/ will extoll their pollinator gardens and a butterfly meadow in Rockwall,
<> @North Texas Master Naturalists http:\/\/ntmn.org\/ Ted Zobeck with avian biologist and raptor researcher Heather Bullock will share their knowledge of birds and birdwatching spots around Rockwall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
